Who we are
Studio Seta is a Milan-Istanbul-Alacati based architecture studio founded by MSc. Architect & Urban Designer Ipek Oztiryaki. The practice operates across multiple scales, from landscape and urban strategies to architecture and interior design. Studio Seta approaches architecture as a contextual and layered discipline, shaped through the interaction between environment, memory, and human experience.
Our work is grounded in a deep reading of place. We engage with existing contexts as living systems, using their physical, cultural, and ecological conditions as a foundation for design. Rather than imposing forms, we develop architectural responses based on continuity, transformation, and adaptation over time.
A core focus of the practice is adaptive reuse. We see existing structures and landscapes as opportunities to generate new meanings and contemporary ways of living, transforming underused environments into meaningful, flexible spaces.
Operating across scales from territorial frameworks to architectural detail, Studio Seta maintains conceptual coherence while responding precisely to specific conditions. Guided by ecological awareness and human-centered design, the studio creates architecture that is resilient, thoughtful, and deeply connected to its place.
